We made it back to the beautiful red rocks, Moab Utah… home of Arches N.P. and Canyonlands N.P. We’ve been wanting to return for some time, and repeat hikes we have done in the past and see new places that we missed. The most memorable hike was back up to Delicate Arch where we stood at the base of the arch, at the top of the mountain.
Next, we visited the Fiery Furnace. This area was unique in itself.
There are lots of arches in the national park, which is why it’s aptly named Arches N.P. Our next hike was the Devil’s Garden Trail to Pine Tree Arch and Landscape Arch.
If you look closely, you can see what looks like elephants at the Double Arches.
Next to the Double Arches are the North and South Windows hike.
Below are pictures of the Balancing Rock & surrounding area.
Despite the 100 + temperatures, we found some respite on the Colorado River.
