There aren’t enough words to describe the beauty of these two national parks, so we’ll let the pictures do most of the talking.
Oh how we love the National Parks in Utah. We were only able to visit two this time in the state. Bryce was the first stop. The hoodoos are truly remarkable and awe inspiring. The weather was cooperative when we first got there, sunny and bright enough for us to drive to all the lookout points and for Ruth and Sallie to take a half day horseback ride through Peek-A-Boo canyon.
On to Zion (the park was celebrating its 100th anniversary) via the famous Carmel-Zion tunnel. They allow RVs to go through by stopping oncoming traffic so the RV can travel down the center lane of the tunnel. It was pretty cool leading the way, especially having Ruth experience the tunnel for the first time. We got to hike some great trails this time: Watchman, Pa’Rus, Lower Emerald Ponds, Weeping Rock and the Canyon Overlook. Everytime we come here the park has something new to offer us.
