“Glamping” with Family

The start of our second RV road trip was at Olema Campground near Point Reyes California, where we enjoyed spending time with Ellie. We went on hikes, spent time at the ocean, visited some cheese creameries and ate lots of s’mores.

During the middle of the week we had more visitors: Amber, Patty, Jackson, Bella, Sandy, Maddie and Fia. We went to Heart’s Desire Beach at Tomales Bay State Park. We enjoyed the sun, calm waters and the kids had a blast playing in the water and searching for sea shells. We returned to camp and had a bonfire with lots of hotdogs and plenty of s’mores.

Our second week at Olema brought Sallie’s mom Norma, to “glamp” with us. We visited the Point Reyes Lighthouse (all 300 steps) and met Sue’s sister Sandy in Tiburon at Sam’s Cafe for a wonderful afternoon of food and sun. Sallie and Norma spent some quality time together shopping in quaint Point Reyes Station and visited some more local area cheese creameries. We were also lucky enough that Sandy and the girls were able to join us again, with a repeat hotdog and s’mores feast.

On our last day in the bay area, we met Kris, Ellie, Shaun and Cameron in San Francisco for a day at Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39 and dinner at Boudin’s.

The kitties have once again settled into their new home for the next six months.
