About Us

****UPDATE****

It is now 2022, and this July 4th we will be celebrating our 23rd anniversary. Where has the time gone???

Thankfully we have survived Covid-19 and in May of 2020, we traded in our 40′ Thor Tuscany Class A Motorhome for a 45′ Tiffin Allegro Bus Class A Motorhome. It’s amazing what features 5′ can add to a coach! We have purchased 2 lots at Aztec RV Resort in Margate (near Ft. Lauderdale) Florida and consider this our home base. We try to travel every other year to beat the heat in South Florida. Our new tow vehicle is a 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and we love it!

We are sad to say we lost our most senior cat Harley. Silly and Graybee, the youngsters seem to be thriving in their bigger coach.

****2013****

Sue and Sallie (picture taken at Victoria Falls in Livingstone Zambia) met 14 years ago at a 4th of July party at Sue’s house.  Over the years, we have enjoyed road trips on our Harley Davidson Roadking, explored different countries and experiences here in the United States. We have met some amazing people on our travels and even a few 4 legged friends… when we volunteered at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. We try not to repeat roads or resorts, but there are some places that we can’t resist, because they are amazingly fun and inspiring, including: the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, Hope School in Ndola, Zambia and Tahiti, which has the most beautiful waters in the world. We love the National Parks in Utah, Arizona and Colorado and can’t wait to spend more time there. Hawaii has and always will be a destination whenever we take time away from traveling in our 2013 Thor Tuscany Class A Motorhome.  Both of us recently retired, plan to spend our time venturing out onto this wonderful continent and hope to log our travels along the way.  We hope you enjoy our blog…

Hi…met you gals in Huntington Beach…Donna, David, Darren, and Brenda. One couple from Nova Scotia and the other from Alberta. Just now found my note with your web address. It was a pleasure to meet you both, and I’m in awe of your sense of adventure and zest for life….go see this wonderful world! I hope this note finds you both well….as well as your lovely pets. David and I became grandparents on January 6 to a 7 pound 9 oz baby girl who we are crazy in love with, Layton Kate. Can’t wait till we can take her along on some of our adventures. I’ll be checking in from time to time with interest to see where your next adventure leads. God keep you safe on your travels. Donna

Hi Donna… Great to hear from you. Congratulations on becoming grandparents. We have been back in Northern California since early December and decided that we want to full time it in the motorhome. We have been busy with setting up for a moving sale this weekend and packing stuff for long term storage. We plan to list the house for sale and hopefully hit the road for good by March. We hope you are managing the winter in Canada and maybe we will meet up again someday.
Tell everyone hello for us and take care,
      Sallie & Sue

We had such a wonderful time with you. Maybe sometime in the near future, we can travel somewhere together in yours and our RV. BTW, the kitties are still looking for that laser. We all miss you…
Love Sue, Sallie and the babies……
