Christmas at Walt Disney World

We arrived in Fort Lauderdale back in November for our winter hibernation. And just a 3 hour drive away, we decided to spend the Christmas Holiday at the “Happiest Place on Earth”. We spent our first day at Hollywood Studios. Luckily, we got to see The Spectacle of Lights display, as this is the last year for them. They truly made our trip to Hollywood Studios magical and got us in the Christmas spirit.

Our second day was spent at the Magic Kingdom. It was so cool to see all the special Christmas decorations throughout the park. Even some of the rides were converted over to a holiday theme. We watched “The Mickey Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” and Tinkerbell fly through the air before the spectacular transformation of Cinderella’s Castle and fireworks display.

Epcot at Christmas time was also simply magical. Walking through the different countries decorated in their traditional ways was beautiful. We truly enjoyed the famous Candlelight Processional complete with symphony, mass choir accompaniment and Daniel Dae Kim as the guest speaker telling the story of the birth of Christ.

The Christmas finale to Illuminations lit up the sky right over our heads!

To all of our friends and family…

MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR ! ! !
